While still unsigned, New York City’s The Upwelling, drawing references to Pink Floyd and the Police, was designated as the first unsigned act and first EP on Virgin-Megastore’s “Virgin Recommends” series, Spin.com’s Underground Band-of-the-Year, and they have been invited to tour the U.K. and the U.S. with the All-American Rejects and Third Eye Blind, respectively.

The Upwelling will be touring and recording throughout the fall.
