| Formed in Brooklyn in 2001, The Damnwells are Alex Dezen (vocals, guitar and piano), Ted Hudson (bass), Steven Terry (drums) and David Chernis (guitar). Their full-length debut Bastards of the Beat, released in 2004, garnered critical praise. The Damnwells then released Air Stereo (Zoe/Rounder Records) in 2006, featuring the Top 20 single "Golden Days". Since the release of Air Stereo The Damnwells have toured with The Fray, Los Lonely Boys, and the Dixie Chicks. They have also been the subject of a documentary, GOLDEN DAYS, a behind the scenes look at the making of an album and survival in the music industry, recently awarded "Best Documentary" at the 2007 Phoenix Film Festival in Phoenix, AZ.
